The Bank of Morton was chartered in 1904 and has operated continuously in Scott County since its inception.
The bank’s primary mission has been to serve the banking needs of Morton, as well as communities in the surrounding area. This continues to be the primary driving force around the Bank today. Being the second oldest bank and one of the most firmly established banks in Scott County, the Bank enjoys a reputation of soundness that serves it well.
